Headquartered in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, Furness Building Society had an established logomark but no defined proposition, positioning or brand identity from which to develop strategic initiatives addressing the new ways that people now want to access financial services.

Truth’s was tasked with modernising the brand; without losing any of its brand equity, serving the changing needs of new and existing customers, who now expect to be able access services and products both digitally and in branches.

We also needed to address how the Society could communicate the benefits of mutuality, when it has always lacked awareness and meaning amongst consumers.
