Vauxhall is one of the oldest established vehicle manufacturers and distribution companies in the United Kingdom. Vauxhall has been the second-largest-selling car brand in the UK for more than two decades.
What we did...
What we have attempted to do here (in 60 mins remember), is to create a much simpler and more dynamic mark, but retain the symbolism of the current iteration. We cropped into the Griffin to make it more impinging in the frame and create a cleaner aesthetic. We have also swapped out the round holding device and replaced it with the Vauxhall V from the current mark. We feel these simple changes create a more dynamic, futuristic and progressive look to what is often perceived to be quite a traditional brand.
60min Makeovers is an internal Truth project where we take a popular brand and refresh it in under an hour. It is just for fun and is undertaken with no insight or knowledge of the brand's future strategy. It is purely cosmetic and for our own pleasure.
